Why we hardly see it anymore
Today, these dynamos have almost disappeared. They have been replaced by rechargeable LED lamps, much more powerful and more practical. There are still modern dynamos built into the wheels, but the old dynamos with small roulette have become rare.
However, they remain a symbol of ingenuity: to produce light simply by pedaling, without external energy, just with movement.
At the time, we were not talking about ecology or renewable energy, but in the end, this system was already an example of clean and autonomous energy.
